Further to my earlier post here, this is a useful summary of the story so far.

Oh and breaking news: Sony's unmasking tool creates another security hole. Are they really trying to alienate all their customers?

Unles you've bought a Sony "not actually a cd" from the States, you won't have it - the software was only used on some discs in the States, and they aren't allowed to call them cds 'cos they aren't compliant with the cd standard.
