Hi Folks.
Just got back from the first combat practice of term. About ten new recruits, which is good but hard work. We'll see how many last. Lots of women, which is nice.

nickys's handless squire James managed to smack me upside the head with his sword while we were doing a demonstration fight so I'm developing a lump and a serious headache. I can't complain too much since I got my ex-squire Graeme in the face before that, though rather less solidly. It's always when you're doing demos that people get hurt - you push things that bit harder to make it look good.
So long as I'm OK for the Mission tomorrow. A child free evening out! Loud music in dark smoky places. Can't beat it.
