Quite - that's not going to go down very well with Irish people, surely! :-)
The flavour itself though sounds - intriguing. The last odd flavour of ice cream I had was when I was in Sweden and bought an ice lolly mainly because of the name (Nogger Black), and it turned out to be liquorice flavour ice cream coated in very dark chocolate. (Lovely, to my surprise)
Fascinating!! Thanks!! And Kokoskon, what a great story...
(How could my tastebuds have got it so wrong? I could have sworn the ice cream was the liquorice flavoured bit. Ah well, I'll just have to go back to Sweden to try it again to make sure...)
Reminds me of the Guinness-flavoured ice cream I got at Greg's a while back. Subtle, but there. Presumably for legal reasons, they listed it as "stout".
A black & tan as a drink has been around for a long time, so I think that's where they are coming from rather than the nasty people. Still won't sell much in Ireland I expect....

I was in fact unaware of this until right now. But it does sound good.
