nickys went down to Roxburgh this morning to do some filming with Time Team. On her way back the van skidded on the wet road and unfortunately someone was coming the other way. The Police say it is a notorious accident blackspot.

Apparently no-one's badly hurt (Nicky has a bruised chest from the seat belt, but no other injuries) but we don't yet know what the verdict on either of the vehicles will be. And we'd only had the new van since Friday! Fortunately some people from the Time Team crew are looking after her and are putting her up in a Hotel, etc. So I don't feel so bad about being stuck in Edinburgh with no transport to go & be there with her. Which I couldn't do anyway 'cos I've got to stay with the kids. I hate this impotent feeling!!!

More news as it breaks....

Thanks everyone. Nicky's not back yet but I've spoken too her & she's OK if sore. We just have to deal with the bureacracy now!
