Actually I always thought I was an atheist, but I can live with anything that's not totally anal about what they preach.

Secular Humanism is an atheist belief system, which is why I was surprised to see it rather low on your list. The Unitarians also accept atheism, though they tend to be more agnostic. One of the buddhisms (I forget which) is compatible with atheism. And IIRC you can be a liberal Quaker and an atheist.

"Nontheist" tends to be applied to people who say "I just don't care".

Maybe because it's very popular with celebrities?
